Sometimes, Mac users need to run Windows software. I want to move the VM to the new iMac and not use it on the old one anymore. Now I plan to buy a new iMac and a new Parallels 13 lcense for it. Im running Windows 10 as free upgrade from Windows 7 on an iMac with Parallels 12. Virtualization software like Parallels or VMWare Fusion (two of the best apps to run Windows software on your Mac without partitioning your hard drive for Boot Camp) isn’t free, though these applications do allow you to try before you buy. Running Windows lets you play PC games that haven’t been ported to the Mac, or stay completely compatible with your documents from a PC-centric workplace. Parallels for mac change memory allocation.
